James (Jim) Bacigalupi

Born in San Francisco, CA. 39 years an Interdisciplinary artist including Furniture Maker to Pope John Paul II. Bellarmine College Preparatory. Santa Clara University, two years in the Business School, BA in Psychology, stressing Laboratory Statistical Analysis. San Francisco State University, MA in Creative Arts. 31/2 years research in Acoustic Engineering for Lutherie applications, and for over 40 years he has been an artist in wood, metal and cast glass. Father of Joshua Bacigalupi, architect and Jessica Bacigalupi Iacovone, fashion designer.

He designs all our whiskeys and aging processes and is one of the founding members of the distillery. Now he is using all his past skills to work in a new medium, spirits. He operates the distillery on a day to day basis and oversees every distillation.
