Scott grew up in Pendleton Oregon. He attended the university of Montana where he played football for the Grizzlies. Scott has lived in Oregon, Montana, Alaska and the last twelve years in Prescott, Arizona.

Scott practiced medicine in Anchorage, Alaska for 16 years. He is an accomplished pilot and enjoyed flying, hunting and fishing in Alaska. Scott has twenty years experience in brewing beer and has attended seminars and classes in distilling spirits.
